Cleaning the gutters is always an unwanted chore. If you have health problems, it can be downright impossible. Luckily, advances in machine technology have given us a robot that can effectively do the job for us. If you want to cut out most of the work involved in cleaning your gutters, a gutter robot might be perfect for you. Here’s how it works:
Arguably the top contender in the gutter robot market is the LOOJ. It’s notable for its ease of use. It’s made at just the right size to fit into any type of gutter. Traction from its long treads propels it up and down the entire length of the gutter for a thorough clearing. An auger is secured to the front of the machine that spins in different directions to control where debris is flung. The LOOJ can be attached to your body to carry it easily from place to place.
Basically, you operate the gutter robot by attaching it to your person and climbing up the ladder to your gutter. This is the extent of the physical labor required with the LOOJ. Detach the remote, and when you get back down use it to move the LOOJ up and down the gutter. Control the direction of the auger to determine where debris is thrown. When the gutter has been cleared, retrieve the LOOJ and hose it down to clean it. That’s all there is to it.
Your roof’s health is partially dependent on your gutters functioning properly; water that pools up on your roof will cause damage. Here at MAK Roofing and Construction, we offer roof repairs and a host of other services. For more information, give us a call at (915) 691-0532.
